Revision101 Supports The Welcome to America Project
The WTAP Logo

Revision101 serves many clients who are new to America, whose first language is not English, and who are starting a new business or a new life here in the U.S.  We thank those clients for their referrals and business.

In an effort to give back, we have worked for over four years with an amazing non-profit here in Arizona called The Welcome to America Project.  We write grants, press releases, marketing and development plans, brochure copy and much more for WTAP -- and we help on delivery days and at fundraisers.  Our founder and chief editor, Sue Michalowski, has raised over $200,000 for the organization in the last two years.

What is The Welcome to America Project?
The Welcome to America Project (WTAP), a registered, 501c3, non-profit organization established in 2001, furnishes the apartments of refugees resettled by the United Nations to the Phoenix area. This mostly-volunteer group collects high quality furniture and household items from donors throughout the Phoenix area, and delivers these goods every Saturday, free of charge, to refugee families arriving from war-torn or oppressed regions worldwide.  Carolyn and Phil Manning of Scottsdale, Arizona founded WTAP in a positive response to the terrorist attacks of 9/11 in which the Mannings lost their brother Terence.  Since then, WTAP has delivered home furnishings and necessities to over 600 refugee families, raised over $650,000 in in-kind donations, and won numerous awards and accolades for its grassroots work.

In 2009, WTAP's founder won a CNN Heroes Award for her work with the organization.
